Yes. Rabbi Fischer is a certified, seventh-generation mohel and performs a traditional bris with the blessings and a baby naming for Jewish families in Allentown and the Lehigh Valley. He also performs a simple, unhurried medical circumcision with no religious content at all, for families of every background and faith. You tell us which you would like, and the visit is shaped around that.
Most in-home circumcisions happen in the first one to four weeks. A traditional bris is on the eighth day. Beyond that, the right timing depends on your baby’s weight, feeding and jaundice status, and whether he was born early — all of which we go over together at the free consultation before anything is scheduled.
