Alongside the big hospital birth centers — Ascension St. Vincent Women's, Franciscan Health, Community Hospital North and Riley at IU Health — central Indiana supports freestanding options including the Indiana Birth Center and Sacred Roots Birth & Wellness Center, plus several home-birth practices.
All of which makes the circumcision gap more jarring when families hit it. A hospital will generally not circumcise a baby it did not deliver, and newborn circumcision falls outside midwifery scope of practice. Plenty of Indianapolis families reach us having already called four places.
Indiana is a planned trip for us, so early notice widens the dates we can offer — especially for an eighth-day bris, which cannot move. Travel is quoted upfront, before you commit.

Do you travel to Indianapolis and the surrounding area?
Yes. We regularly travel throughout Indianapolis and Marion County and out to Carmel, Fishers, Zionsville, Noblesville, Greenwood, Avon, and Brownsburg. If you are a little farther out, just ask when you book and we will let you know.
Can you perform a bris in Indianapolis?

How soon after birth can the circumcision be done?
Most in-home newborn circumcisions are done within the first one to four weeks. We will confirm the ideal timing for your baby during your free consultation.
